Macquarie Centre has partnered with The Campaign for Wool initiative, led by global patron His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, as a major sponsor of Wool Week 2015, and will showcase their 2015 campaign I Wool if you Wool from 18 – 31 May in-centre.
 

The collaboration will see Macquarie Centre celebrate wool through a series of events and creative installations, including a VIP Shopping Night on Thursday 21 May.

As part of the Wool Week celebrations, Macquarie Centre collaborated with media personality and fashion blogger Sally Obermeder to assist with styling key fashion retailer windows with wool items that encapsulate seasonal fashion trends.

Sally said, “I chose my favourite wool items from Sambag, Decjuba and UNIQLO and had a great time styling their windows! Wool is so beautiful, it’s breathable, renewable, and definitely wearable. My tip is don’t be afraid of winter whites this season. A cable knit, oversized wool cardigan worn with white jeans and tan accessories is just so luxurious and absolutely on trend.”

Macquarie Centre will also activate a wool-themed creative installation celebrating wool in Australian fashion while every retailer who sells wool will transform their windows into woollen winter wonderlands.

On Thursday May 21 Macquarie Centre will celebrate all things wool with a VIP Shopping Night featuring champagne, entertainment and special offers from participating retailers including an exclusive gift bag for shoppers who spend $180 or more on a wool product. So make sure you head in centre to experience the pinnacle of fashion at Macquarie Centre.
