The company has a total portfolio
of 32 shopping centres. This includes 27 shopping centres under asset and/or property management in Australia and New Zealand. AMP Capital Shopping Centres also represents AMP's interest in 5 co-owned centres within Australia.
The portfolio includes some of Australia's most productive Regional Centres, with Garden City Booragoon (WA) ranked 3rd* for Speciality MAT $psm and Karrinyup Shopping Centre (WA) ranked 15th* for MAT $psm. In addition, the portfolio includes two of Australia's most productive Sub-Regional Centres, with Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre (NSW) ranked 3rd and Ocean Keys Shopping Centre (WA) ranked 7th** for MAT $psm.
In 2004, AMP Capital Shopping Centres assumed asset and property management responsibility of Northbridge Plaza, Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Marrickville Metro and Auburn Home Mega Mall, following the purchase of these properties by AMP’s various property funds.
In total, AMP Capital Shopping Centres has property management responsibility for approximately 1.3 million square metres of retail space throughout Australia and New Zealand, with combined annual sales of more than $7.0 billion AUD.
