Key investment objectives

• To achieve capital growth for investors over the long term, and
• To outperform the S&P/CITIC 300 Total Return index (expressed in AUD).

About the benchmark

The S&P/CITIC 300 Total Return index has been in operation since June 1996. We selected this index as the Fund’s performance benchmark because:

• It takes into account company liquidity and operational history.
• It covers approximately 60% of the current tradeable market by value as at 30 September 2006.
