AMP Capital uses a proprietary screening model that combines social responsibility with a financial assessment to seek suitable companies for our Sustainable Future Funds.

Investment strategy
To invest in companies within industries of the future which are providing solutions to social and environmental challenges, as well as traditional businesses that exhibit high levels of corporate social responsibility. AMP Capital regards healthcare, renewable energy, mass transport, education and water & waste management as industries of the future. Examples of traditional sectors include finance, property and retail. The Fund avoids investing in companies with a material exposure to gambling, alcohol, tobacco, pornography, uranium and armaments.

Objective
To provide high returns over the long term while accepting high volatility. We aim to provide a total return, after costs and before tax, higher than the return from the benchmark on a rolling 3 years basis.
