Why invest with us?

Clients benefit from our pioneering heritage in developing contemporary diversified investment solutions since 1975.

Information advantage

We offer in-house specialist expertise and collaboration between investment teams in property, infrastructure, fixed income, equities and economics, as well as the economics team headed by Dr Shane Oliver.

Risk management

Our strong focus on risk management helps to build stronger portfolios, generate smoother returns and target lower volatility.

Philosophy and process

Investment philosophy

We believe that markets are by nature inefficient and that we can take advantage of inefficient markets across asset classes to deliver diversified, real investment outcomes for clients with measurable and manageable risk.

Investment process

We use active management to select what we believe to be high quality investment managers. In addition to strategic (long term) investment decisions, we employ dynamic (shorter term) allocation. This approach aims to achieve growth with smoother returns, reducing overall portfolio risks. We also aim to invest in asset classes which enhance diversification, such as infrastructure, hedge funds and private equity.

Investment team

Our people and their experience set us apart. The multi-manager team draws on the expertise of a broader team of over 40 specialists in manager selection, asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management, as well as the economics team headed by Dr Shane Oliver.
