The FEAL Fund Executive of the Year Award recognises outstanding leadership, achievement and innovation by a fund executive within the Australian superannuation industry. This important award also furthers our commitment to support the ongoing professional development of superannuation executives.

The 2009 Award recipient will receive a $20,000 education grant made possible with the generous support of AMP Capital Investors. The grant will enable the award recipient to undertake an executive education program offered by a world class educational institution.

The award will be presented at FEAL's 10th Anniversary Dinner to be held at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on Wednesday 12 August 2009. I encourage you to submit a nomination on behalf of a fund executive who you believe has made an outstanding contribution to their fund and the superannuation industry.

AMP Capital Investors have been sponsors of the FEAL Fund Executive of the Year Award since its inauguration 8 years ago and are very proud to be able to continue our work with FEAL in rewarding fund executives for their outstanding contributions.

The Award has grown from strength to strength and, through our education grant, recipients will be able to take advantage of some of the world class courses available around the world. Past recipients have used the opportunity to attend programs at eminent educational institutions in Europe and the US, including Harvard Business School, Wharton School of Business and other such renowned international management schools.

As the bursary has grown, so too has the reputation of the Award. I strongly encourage each fund to review and consider its fund executives as potential nominees for the 2009 award.
