SRI symbol

The SRI symbol, launched in September 2005, was developed by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia to promote consistent, standardised disclosure and education about SRI, and to help investors make informed choices about ethical investing. The SRI symbol is a trademark of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). The SRI symbol signifies that a product or service offers an investment strategy that takes into account labour standards and/or environmental, social or ethical considerations when selecting, retaining or realising investments. The SRI symbol also signifies that AMP Capital has adopted SRI disclosure practices required under the SRI symbol Certification Program for Fund Managers.

About the RIAA

The Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), formerly the Ethical Investment Association is a membership organisation for professionals working in the area of sustainable responsible investment and ethical investment and also helps individuals and organisations to learn more about how they can become responsible investors.

RIAA was formed in 1999 to promote the concept and practice of SRI to an increasingly curious general public, to the mainstream investment community, to analysts, superannuation trustees, financial advisers, regulators, religious, charitable and other values-based organisations, government and non-government organisations and to the corporate sector.
